gluten free pretzel chicken
If you’ve been missing chicken nuggets, this is for you! The chicken in this recipe turns out fantastically tender and juicy while the pretzel coating cooks up perfectly crunchy. Make as chicken strips for a quick meal or in nugget shapes for snacks or entertaining. Great dipped in honey mustard sauce, your favorite gf BBQ sauce, or if you like it spicy, try hot sauce!

gluten free pumpkin tarts – mmmmmm pumpkin …
I found this fabulous recipe for cupcakes on fantasy author S. J. Wolff’s blog, Wolff’s Realm. I converted it and the result was awesome – they disappeared before I could even get a photo! So I made them again, added a ginger cookie and coconut crust, and didn’t tell anyone until I had a picture to post! The ginger and coconut flavours combined beautifully with the pumpkin, the crumbs added a bit of texture, and the tarts also came out of the pan easier.
This would also be great with Mary’s Magnificent Pie Crust!

Kit Kat Kopy Kat
I know, I know. These look more like a Peanut Butter Cup than a Kit Kat Bar but without a proper chocolate mold this was what we came up with! These gluten free Kit Kat “Bars” taste like the real thing. The secret is getting the chocolate to filling ratio just right! And they aren’t that difficult to make. No oven required – just a blender and a microwave. We posted this recipe last Christmas but thought we’d post it again for the upcoming Halloween Season. These would be great treats for your ghosts and goblins at any gf halloween parties!

gluten free cheese and onion rolls: soooo easy to do
If you are looking for a quick and easy – and delicious – gluten free dinner roll recipe, this is it! Based on our recipe for white bread mini loaves, these rolls are easy to make, fluffy and airy, and taste fantastic. And yes, they use yeast but please don’t think that means they are complicated to make. While you do need to leave them time to rise (40 minutes) the rest is as easy as pie… No, scratch that. It’s even easier – more like a stir and bake cake. Looking for gluten free bread recipes? Try these:

Mary’s Pie Crust: no one will know it’s gluten free
If you follow this blog, you’ll know that some of our best recipes come from my mother Mary. As we have said, she is known for her pies – both glutinous and gluten free – and she often drops by with a gf one for Geoff. Last week’s was lemon meringue 🙂 It was sooooo good we figured we re-post her gf pie crust recipe with quantities and instructions for single crust pies.
For a lighter/flakier version and/or instructions for a two crust pie, see our earlier post.

gf and me’s cinnamon coffee bread
This bread is chock full of of sugar and spice and everything nice. If you miss cinnamon buns, this recipe is for you. If you really want to be decadent, drizzle the top with a vanilla glaze or our not-too-sweet cream cheese icing.
The smell of this gluten free raisin bread in the oven is so AH-MAZ-ING, don’t be surprised if the neighbours come calling! And if they do, they will never guess it’s gluten free. When it is still warm, this bread is just a bit crispy on the outside and gooey in the middle. When it’s cooled and the flavours have melded, it has the taste and texture of a really good cinnamon bun.
