This recipe can’t be easier. Just mix together these few ingredients, store in an airtight container, and you’ll always have your favorite taco seasoning at the ready. Add a little – or a lot – to flavour your taco fillings or use it to make a tasty taco salad. And it’s easy to make it your own: add as little or as much salt as you want, fire it up with more pepper flakes, or cool it down by leaving out the cayenne. It’s up to you!
what you’ll need:
1 ½ tablespoons chili powder
1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of cayenne
Salt and pepper to taste
what you’ll do:
Mix everything together in a small bowl and store in an airtight container.
TIP: We use an old spice jar (that’s an old jar that used to contain spice … not one that used to contain Old Spice)

This would be great in a shredded salad, tossed with corn tortilla strips, lightly toasted and shredded cheddar or jack cheese. Love this seasoning idea!
Ohhhh, that sounds fantastic!
